Lamborghini Gallardo Test Drive Review by Ammar Shahbana

Assalamualaikum to VSTR blog readers =),

As usual, I'll update you guys with our current activities. As for me, I've had the chance to test drive the Lamborghini Gallardo last Thursday. Such an unforgettable experience.

Called Mr. Ron Lim on last Tuesday to confirm him that I'm coming for a test drive on Thursday. He says I can come anytime that I want to lol. So its confirmed then.

I've arrived there 10 minutes earlier before 11am the time that I've promised him. Went inside the showroom, was drooling at the Lamborghini's on display. Saw Mr. Ron Lim in his office, went inside and told him that it's me Ammar.

Greeted me with a friendly smile =), and I waited for about 5 minutes or so, since the Lamborghini Gallardo haven't arrived yet at the showroom.

The Gallardo arrived, and soon we are ready to go. He tought me some basic things that I should know about Lambo's e-gear transmission. Gotta say, it was very easy than my auto car transmission lol.

I was abit worried since the car is worth more than RM1,000,000.00. So, I drove out as careful as possible to the highway. One thing though, the car is quite lowered but it seems that the suspension set is very good since I've had no problems going on the speedbumps on Sunway.

Drove out to the highway, Kesas that is. We went to Kota Kemuning, Klang. I asked him whether I can accelerate the pedal to feel the Lambo's speed. He says do whatever you like haha. I pressed down the accelerator. The sound it makes is unbelieveable since youre sitting inside it. Wonderful. The pick up is nothing like normal car. Thats why it is called a super car.

Really makes me smile all the way to Kota Kemuning. One thing though, the brake is quite unusual. Not as the same as normal car as the bhp of the car is way higher than normal car. So you'll need to get use to it.

Made a U-turn back to Sunway, could'nt accelerate much since there's quite a number of cars on the road. The good thing about driving this car, I can cut the Q easily since its an exotic, people would love the see it from their car lol..

Drove on an average speed since its almost the end of the journey. Taking my time to enjoy the car aroma haha. Mr. Ron talked about his racing history and it was quite an interesting story told by himself. He even told me that he got his first Ferrari when he was 26 years old. One hardworking man he is. My respect goes to him.

Alhamdulillah, we arrived back at the showroom safely. Thank God =).

Snap up some pics of the cars there (Murci, Count & Gallardo). Mr. Ron gave me a gift, a cd that is. Contains pictures of the Lamborghini factory in Italy and wallpapers of all the latest Lamborghini car pictures.

Then its time to go back home for me. Shake his hands, said thank you and told him that I'll be seeing him in future InsyaAllah. That is I want to afford to have this magnificent piece of car in my garage one day =).

Thats all from me, thank you for reading.

my-KART Round 4 Race Review By Ammar Shahbana

Alhamdulillah, it was a beautiful sunny day in Shah Alam. The track is a bit wet since it rained heavily yesterday. It got dried up pretty quick though. K3 race started first since the karts could accommodate the track condition. As usual our champion Afiq Hamzah got 1st placed in his first race, for me myself, I've managed to get 7th placed from 16 drivers which I could consider acceptable since I changed two karts during the starting. What a coincidence right?..

For our 2nd round race, Afiq managed to finish somewhere in the middle (sorry, full result isn't out yet in my-KART :P). I've also managed to finished somewhere in the middle too.

For the final race, thank God that both of us got into Final A, which I've targeted earlier before the race started.

The outcome was good, Afiq won the race AGAIN..and I've managed to finished somewhere in the middle. What can I say, its not our karts, its rental karts and the condition isn't as expected. But we've fight and did our best to make it to Final A :). A *big clap* for both of us.

At the end of the event, two of our team members of Vertical Speed Racing Team got themselves some trophies for winning the K3 races in the previous rounds. They are Afiq Hamzah and Wira Ahmad Fauzi. The trophies are sponsored by TELEVAS :). Kudos to them for making the race more interesting.

Here's a picture to spice things up. Enjoi.
